Password Manager
Every CodeMeter Stick comes with a free, secure, password manager, which securely stores passwords, logins, and PINs (personal identification number) on a CodeMeter Stick. This application was specially developed for the end-user and is used to store and handle secret data.
The CodeMeter Password Manager learns logins and where to automatically paste them in Windows dialogs and on web pages for the user. It supports all major browsers, e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari. It is a safe a convenient way to encourage the use of strong personal passwords.
The CodeMeter Password Manager also rates the security value of passwords.
File Encryption
Every user can download a CodeMeter version of Steganos Safe Lite—free of charge—and create encrypted virtual drives. Files stored in this virtual drive are encrypted and invisible. The access code is securely stored in the CodeMeter Stick.
Protected Partition
All CodeMeter Sticks with an integrated flash disk can be divided into multiple partitions. A single partition can be protected by a password from unauthorized access.
One CodeMeter Password for Everything
The user can set up one password for his CodeMeter Stick. Doing that, all CodeMeter functions are protected using this password: the stored licenses, the password manager data, the virtual drive and the protected partition on the flash disk.
